There's nothing here, but you can experience the western tip of Honshu.
The sunset is beautiful.
I visited on a tour of the four polar regions of Honshu.
I think it's difficult to get there unless you have a car or a motorcycle, but it's easy to access.
Free parking is also available.
A few hundred meters from the parking lot, you will arrive at the westernmost monument on Honshu.
It was well maintained as a tourist spot.
You can also get a certificate of fastest arrival to Honshu at the tourist center at Shimonoseki Station, so please take it as a memento.
I visited the westernmost tip of Honshu to explore the 16 edges of Japan's north, south, east, and west.
``The westernmost point of Honshu,'' it's worth a visit.
The steep slope starts after 800m.
There is also a smartphone stand so you can take commemorative photos by yourself.
I visited on a weekday. I was very happy to have the beautiful scenery to myself!
The westernmost tip of Honshu, with a large parking lot and a short walk.
Conquer the westernmost tip of Honshu! If you like the edge, this is a place you should visit at least once. The repeats are a little strange though (lol)
There is a free parking lot that can accommodate a reasonable number of cars. It is said that the sunset is beautiful due to the location, but I visited on a cloudy day in the morning.
I could see Tsunoshima.
It was a gloomy day and I could see rain falling on the ocean in the distance, which was magical.
